September 30 2025 - Coldstream and Lavington fire crews were called out around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, after an SUV left the King Edward Forest Service Road in Coldstream.
When emergency crews arrived, they found all occupants safely out of the vehicle and uninjured.
The SUV, however, was perched dangerously close to the edge of a steep bank.
Firefighters used a winch from a wildland vehicle to pull the SUV back onto stable ground.
Once recovered, the occupants were able to continue their journey down the forest service road.
RCMP and BC Ambulance also responded to the call.
