Semi in Westwold Barn Has Been Removed

May 18 2026 - The semi-truck that crashed into the century-old barn along Highway 97 in Westwold is gone.
Video taken today from highway 97 show the truck is no longer lodged inside the structure.
Also visible, many of the damaged areas on the west side have been cleared away, with broken boards removed leaving sound framing.

The scaffolding also appears more substantial and organized, consistent with ongoing repair or reconstruction work.
The fence around the site remains in place.The accident occurred on July 16, 2025.
As of today (May 19, 2026), it has been 10 months and 3 days since the crash.
The semi in the barn had become a well-known Westwold landmark during its 10-month stay.
