Injury Collision on Commonage Road Involves Motorcycle and SUV

July 9 2026 - One person was transported to hospital following a collision between a motorcycle and a small SUV Thursday morning on Commonage Road, just south of Bailey Road.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. on July 9, 2026. Emergency crews, including two BC Emergency Health Services ambulances, Vernon Fire Rescue, and two RCMP units, responded to the scene along with a BCAA tow truck.
Traffic was reduced to single-lane alternating while first responders worked the scene.
The white SUV sustained noticeable damage to its left rear quarter panel and bumper area.
The circumstances leading to the collision have not been released by police.
