Serious Accident Brings Trans-Canada Highway to a Halt Between Sicamous and Annis Bay

The crash was first reported shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 10.

Live traffic data shows heavy red slowdowns concentrated along the lakeshore section of the highway, just north of Annis Bay near the Lake of the Shuswap Scenic Viewpoint.

Multiple emergency crews are en route to the scene.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes while the highway remains closed.
