Coldstream Rescue Operation - Two Injured Extracted from Steep Terrain

June 26- 2026 - Emergency crews rescued at least two injured people from steep terrain Friday evening following a reported incident at the top of Ravine Road. The call came in shortly after 5 p.m. June 26.


The incident is believed to have occured on privae property

Coldstream Fire, RCMP, and two BC Ambulance Service units responded to the scene, with over a dozen rescuers on hand. Four Coldstream fire trucks, two ambulances, and an RCMP cruiser were visible at the location.


Crews used specialized stretchers and manpower to carry the injured parties down the difficult terrain to waiting ambulances.


The roughly two-hour operation concluded with both ambulances departing the scene Code 3, lights and sirens activated.

The exact nature of the incident remains unclear, but officials confirmed a successful technical rescue was performed.


No further details on the victims’ conditions have been released.
