Sunken Boats Off Manhattan Beach, Okanagan Lake - Video

Several boats remain semi-submerged or sunk off Manhattan Beach,

located on Okanagan Lake just north of Kelowna, BC.

According to the owner of a boat in the immediate area, the recent cold snap brought strong winds, and freezing temperatures that covered the boats with a thick layer of frozen water, making them so heavy that they capsized and sank.

He said the owners were powerless to do anything to save their boats.
