The Vernon Winter Carnival Parade, 2022, was a great success. The public was treated to over 40 minutes of floats, marching bands, clowns, and all manner of displays as the parade made it's way through downtown Vernon, not to mention blue skies and mild temperatures.
This year the parade was dedicated to "first responders". Vernon fire, RCMP, Forestry Service, Search and Rescue, Ambulance and other agencies led the procession. The Vernon Winter Carnival is in its 61st year. The Parade was canceled last year because of COVID.
