Vernon’s first No Frills opens Nov. 19
October 28 2026 - A new No Frills grocery store will open November 19 at 1601 15th Street in Vernon’s Hillview Village plaza, at the intersection of 15th Street and Highway 6.
The store is a locally owned franchise operating under the name Paul’s No Frills. In a recent announcement, the franchise said it is finishing preparations to have the store in “A1 condition” for the opening and is assembling a team focused on serving Vernon and the surrounding areas.
The company has indicated that giveaways and further opening-day details will be shared in the coming weeks.
The new location adds a discount grocery option to the north end of the city.
The Hillview Village plaza has seen other commercial activity in recent months as tenants prepare spaces along the Highway 6 corridor.
The November 19 opening date was confirmed by the local franchise.
