Vernon Public Washroom Vandalized

Tuesday, January 14th, 2025: A public washroom in downtown Vernon was the scene of a minor fire. The facility is located in the 3400 block of 30th Avenue, across from the local Freshco.

Fire crews quickly extinguished some burning paper before the structure could suffer any damage.

This washroom has been in the news in the past. Recently it has been the focus of area businesses and local city council.
