Update: SilverStar Brewing Still Closed 29 Days After Suspicious Vernon Fire
March 25 2026 - It has now been 29 days since the February 24 2026 early morning fire at SilverStar Brewing in downtown Vernon.
New information obtained by ExNews.net suggests the suspect or suspects entered the building through a hatch on the businesses roof.
This detail has not been confirmed by police.
The brewpub remains closed until further notice, according to a notice posted on the business website.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are continuing their arson investigation (file #2026-3085).
