Snow-related motor vehicle accidents kept Vernon's First Responders busy on Wednesday, with numerous calls to 911 coming in from around the region. Incidents included cars in ditches, slips, falls, and wires down.
At around 10 AM, a serious three-vehicle accident at 25th and 43rd street resulted in the driver of one of the vehicles being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
No information on the driver's injuries has been released. Witnesses at the scene believe that one of the vehicles involved may have been stolen.
A few blocks away, on 30th Ave at 41st Street, another unrelated accident took place. Emergency personnel responded to reports of a car hitting a power pole, with no injuries reported.
