Search Warrant in Vernon Yields Suspected Fentanyl and Cash

VERNON, B.C. - Vernon North Okanagan RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3900-block of 24th Avenue on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Officers, assisted by the RCMP Southeast District Emergency Response Team, conducted the warrant around 1 p.m. Police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cash from the home.Twelve people were inside the residence when the warrant was executed.

All were released pending further investigation. Once complete, the file will be submitted for a comprehensive charge review.

The investigation remains ongoing.
