Update 1:42 PM - Eagle Valley Rescue, several ambulances as well as a BC Air Ambulance have responded to the scene.
Stopped traffic has backed up for kilometres


September 10 2026 1:30 PM - The Trans-Canada Highway is closed in both directions Thursday afternoon following a vehicle incident about 1 kilometre southeast of Crazy Creek Bridge, near Malakwa in B.C.’s Eagle Pass.

DriveBC reported the closure around 1:05 p.m. local time. As of 1:27 p.m., crews were still assessing the scene. No further details on injuries, vehicles involved, or a reopening time were available.
The stretch sits between Sicamous and Revelstoke.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes where possible. An update is expected around 2 p.m.
