Flipped Semi Cleared From Coquihalla

Vehicle recovery delays traffic on Coquihalla Highway completed late Friday evening

A northbound vehicle recovery operation near the Zopkios Rest Area caused minor delays on the Coquihalla Highway on Friday.

Northbound drivers on Coquihalla had to maneuver around the semi at Zopkios

DriveBC issued a reminder around 1:50 p.m. that the left lane remained open while crews worked at the scene.

The incident was fully cleared at approximately 10:30 p.m. Thursday night. Traffic is now moving normally in the area between Hope and Merritt.
