Fire guts trailer in Anderson Way parking lot

September 16 2026 - Vernon Fire Rescue was called to a vehicle fire early Monday, Sept. 14, in the parking area between two box stores in the 5300 block of Anderson Way.

Fire crews arrived to find a Vanguard travel trailer fully involved.

The fire burned through the roof and sides, leaving the interior charred and the windows blown out.

The blaze was knocked down quickly. No injuries were reported. RCMP attended.
