Fatal Collision With Dump Truck

ENDERBY, B.C. - May 9, 2025
A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a dump truck on Thursday afternoon in Enderby.
Just before 2:30 p.m. on May 8, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 1900-block of George Street. Police say the dump truck was stopped in the southbound lane when it was struck from behind by the motorcycle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
The stretch of George Street, which is also part of Highway 97A for those unfamiliar with local road names, was closed for several hours while investigators worked at the scene.
RCMP continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
