ERT Apprehends Man in Armstrong
Armstrong, B.C., September 18, 2025 -Around 1 p.m. Thursday, the Southeast District Emergency Response Team (SED ERT) assisted North Okanagan RCMP in apprehending a man from an Armstrong residence.
Several ERT vehicles, including an armoured truck, were tracked on social media as they travelled north on Highway 97A toward the scene. Witnesses reported officers in tactical uniforms carrying standard assault rifles as they surrounded the property.
With a police drone overhead and a K9 unit barking nearby, officers used a bullhorn to call the man out of the home.
He was taken into custody without incident as onlookers recorded the operation on their phones.
RCMP have not released details on the reason for the apprehension.
