Coldstream Wildfire "Intentionally Set" - RCMP

Coldstream, BC – On July 25, 2025, at 2 p.m., a suspicious brush fire was deliberately set in a wooded gully between Coldstream Creek Road and Grieve Road, near a Coldstream neighbourhood.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP and firefighters contained the blaze.

Police are seeking public assistance to identify those responsible.

“We believe some people have information but haven’t come forward,” said Constable Chris Terleski.

An unrelated wildfire occurred in the immediate area a year ago.
