Camper Destroyed by Fire North of Vernon

A camper van was fully engulfed in flames when BX-Swan Lake Fire Rescue arrived on scene Sunday.
The fire broke out along Highway 97 near Stickle Road, just north of Vernon.
Firefighters quickly worked to knock down the blaze, which completely destroyed the vehicle.
Early unconfirmed reports indicate that all occupants were accounted for. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
