Birnie and Highway 97 Crash

March 29, 2025: Once again, a crash at one of BC-97's many uncontrolled intersections has required an emergency response.
Vernon Fire Rescue Service, along with BC Ambulance and the RCMP, attended the scene.
Two vehicles were involved, and reports from the scene indicated that one person may require medical assistance.
Southbound traffic was reduced to one lane for a time.
