Raptors Performance Series Returns to Vernon's Allan Brooks Nature Centre
VERNON B.C. - One of the Okanagan’s favourite wildlife events is back this summer. The Raptors Performance Series will take place at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre from June 20 to 24, 2026.

The five-day limited run at the Grassland Theatre features live flight demonstrations with majestic birds of prey, including hawks, owls, eagles, and vultures.
Expert handlers from The Raptors (Vancouver Island) will present two outdoor shows daily, showcasing impressive flights while sharing educational insights into raptor behaviour, habitats, and conservation.
Organizers note that nearly 30% of raptor species worldwide are threatened due to human impacts, making the event an important opportunity to raise awareness.

The outdoor event is a popular fundraiser for the Allan Brooks Nature Centre. Guests are asked to bring their own chairs, as bench seating is limited. No food or pets are permitted.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 10, 2026 at 5:00 a.m. PDT through https://trellis.org/theraptors2026 and are expected to sell out quickly.
Flight Demonstrations: Adults $35 | Children (4–17) & Seniors $25 | Under 4 free
At the door (if available): $40
Visitors can also book optional Small Group Encounters, intimate one-hour sessions limited to six people (minimum age 8) for a closer experience with the birds.
Small Group Encounters: $115 per person (advance purchase only*)
