Bennett Bridge closed southbound after vehicle incident

September 22 2026 - Highway 97 (Harvey Avenue) is closed southbound across the William R. Bennett Bridge following a vehicle incident.

Kelownas Bennett Bridge 7:45 AM Tuesday. Southbound lanes closed, northbound one lane only.

The closure runs from Campbell Road to Pandosy Street in Kelowna.

Southbound traffic cannot use the bridge.

The northbound left lane is also closed. Delays are expected because of congestion.

The advisory was last updated at 7:08 a.m. PDT Tuesday, Sept. 22, with another update scheduled for 8:00 a.m.
