RCMP seek public tips after overnight shooting at Armstrong business

September 14, 2026 Armstrong, B.C. - Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are investigating after several shots were fired into a business on Smith Drive in the early hours of Friday.

Police say a business owner reported around 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, that someone had shot at the building overnight.

Officers attended the 3300-block of Smith Drive and found evidence consistent with a shooting.

Video from inside the business showed that shortly after 1 a.m., someone discharged several rounds from a firearm into the building.

No injuries were reported.
