Around 5 PM Friday, Lavington and Coldstream Fire Halls responded to reports of a chimney fire in the 7200 Block of Highway 6.
When crews arrived, the fire was threatening to spread into the walls.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the chimney fire and saved the building.
There are no reports of injuries. No word on when the residents can return home.
