Downtown Vernon Apartment Fire Reaches 3 Alarms
On Saturday evening, around 7 PM, Vernon Fire Rescue responded to reports of a mattress fire in a multi-dwelling building located in downtown Vernon. Fire At Vernon Landfill Continues Into Second Day
BX Swan Lake Fire Rescue spent much of Tuesday at the Vernon Landfill on Birnie Road, south of Vernon, BC, dealing with a stubborn fire burning deep inside a large pile of garbage. 9700 block, Chase road, Lake Country. The house fire was first called in just after 10 pm Saturday, November 3, 2022. No injuries have been reported. Little to nothing is known at this point.
