UPDATE: Sunday, October 9/22 Sad news for family and friends of a woman missing North of Vernon BC for over a week. RCMP report the body of Jacqueline McDermott, 22 was discovered Saturday. The RCMP along with the BC Coroners Service continue their investigation but at this time the RCMP has stated there is no sign of criminality associated with the Ontario woman's death. The Salmo RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Harsha Paladugu. Paladugu has not been seen or heard from since July 27, 2022 when he attended the Shambhala Music Festival outside of Salmo, B.C. Harsha was supposed to visit a friend in Toronto following the event but has not yet arrived. Police confirmed that Leah Pahlke was located safe and well The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing youth, Leah Gabriella Pahlke. 16-year old Pahlke was last seen in Vernon on Monday, September 26th, 2022.
