Semi Crashes Into Heritage Barn in Wednesday Evening Incident

July 17, 2025: On Wednesday evening, a westbound semi truck left the roadway, crossed a drainage ditch, plowed through a steel fence, and continued through a barnyard before crashing into what has been described as a heritage barn.

The Westwold Barn is a Working Landmark

The truck came to a stop deep inside the structure, with its cab protruding from the barn’s western wall.

So far, there has been no official explanation for what caused the crash. The condition of the semi's driver has not been disclosed.
