Provincial Candidates Invited to Environmental Forum in Vernon
Candidates from the Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream and Vernon-Lumby ridings have been invited to attend an Environmental All Candidates Forum, organized by the Sustainable Environment Network Society (SENS).
The event will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Towne Cinema in Vernon.
Admission is free, and if all goes as planned, the event will be live-streamed on the Sustainable Environment Network Society’s Facebook website.
This non-partisan forum offers voters their first opportunity to hear from candidates as they discuss important environmental issues.
The public event includes a question-and-answer session where the candidates can speak to topics that matter to the community.
Questions submitted by the public prior to the event will be displayed in the foyer of the Towne Cinema. You can also see the question online at www.sensociety.org by October 3.
Those interested in submitting questions can send them to mailto:info@sensociety.org
