RCMP Investigating Suspicious Death as Possible Homicide

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are investigating a suspicious death discovered early Thursday morning.


On August 8, 2024, at approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance report at a residence in the 2100-block of 32nd Street, Vernon. They found a deceased person inside the home.





Three individuals were initially taken into custody but have since been released pending further investigation.


The RCMP’s Serious Crimes Unit, supported by Forensic Identification Services, is treating the death as a possible homicide.


The incident appears isolated with no known risk to the public.

The victim’s identity has not been disclosed, and no additional details are available at this time.
