Vernon Farmers’ Market Kicks Off 47th Outdoor Season
April 19 2026 - The Vernon Farmers’ Market officially opened its 47th outdoor season on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Kal Tire Place.

Now one of the oldest farmers’ markets in the Okanagan, the market has grown from a small group of vendors in 1979 to more than 100 growers, crafters, and artisans each week. Shoppers can find fresh local produce, fruit, eggs, meat, cheese, baked goods, plants, flowers, and handmade items.
The outdoor market runs Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October at 3445 43rd Ave. A Saturday market will also operate from June through August at 1540 Kalamalka Lake Rd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Early-season favourites like asparagus, rhubarb, spinach, and fresh herbs are already available, with strawberries, cherries, and a full range of summer vegetables expected in the coming weeks.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.
