Vehicle Through Window at Vernon Business Thursday Morning

February 12 2026 - Vernon emergency crews responded to a vehicle that went through a large glass window at a business in the Vernon Square Shopping Centre Thursday morning.

The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at the complex located at 32nd Street and 43rd Avenue.

Responders arrived to find a vehicle partially through the front window of a tanning salon.

BC Ambulance was attending to one person, the extent of their injuries has not been released.

The circumstances leading up to the incident are not known at this time.

Vernon Fire Rescue, RCMP and BC Ambulance were in attendance.
