Dec. 11, 2025 4:30 PM: BC Ministry of Transportation and Transit has completed a full ground assessment of Highway 3 between Hope and Manning Park.

Crews have found what they describe as "extensive damage" at roughly two dozen locations between Hope and Princeton on Highway 3
Damage includes rockfall, debris, undermined shoulders, blocked culverts, and pooled water.
TranBC reports there is currently no estimate for reopening.

Weather forecasts predict more heavy rainfall resulting in high water levels that are expected to impact routes between the Interior and the Lower Mainland.
Several highways have reopened, but Highway 3 remains fully closed from Hope to Princeton.
