Serious Crash Shuts Down Trans-Canada Highway Near Salmon Arm

May 19, 2026 - A serious collision has closed the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) in both directions east of Salmon Arm this afternoon.
The crash occurred on the Tran Canada between Highway 97B and Canoe, bringing traffic to a complete halt.
Multiple BC Ambulance Service units, RCMP, and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
