September 7, 2024: Unconfirmed reports indicate a car was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes near Coldwater Road, leading to a head-on collision with a pickup truck.
Both vehicles reportedly caught fire following the impact.
Eyewitnesses have provided conflicting accounts regarding the condition of the individuals involved, with some claiming that people were seen exiting the vehicles, while others reported fatalities.
Emergency responders were on the scene, and the southbound lanes between Coldwater Road and Larson Hill were closed until approximately 3 a.m. on Sunday, September 8.
