UPDATE: 5 PM - Church Road / Hwy 97 Reopened to Single-Lane Alternating Traffic North of Cache Creek, BC

Traffic has reopened to single-lane alternating traffic on Church Road / Hwy 97 (Cariboo Highway) following a serious vehicle incident north of Cache Creek.

Cache Creek: Thursday, July 16 2026 - A serious crash has stopped traffic just north of Cache Creek in both directions.

Reports of the Cariboo Highway incident started coming in just after 4 PM.

Multiple BC Ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
