Fire Crews Respond to Buchanan Road Incident

November 9, 2025 – Lavington, BC - Around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, firefighters from the Lavington and Coldstream halls responded to a call in the 6600 block of Buchanan Road.

A large barn or equipment shed on the property was seen with light smoke coming from a roof vent.

A large rolling door on the buildings east side appeared to have been damaged, with part of it pushed or warped outward.

There also appeared to be possible smoke or fire damage near the doors damaged area.

An ambulance was on scene along with both Lavington and Coldstream fire crews.

It’s not yet known what caused the incident or whether anyone was injured.
