Emergency Update: Evacuation Orders and Alerts Remain in Effect for Coldstream and Lavington

September 6, 2025 - The District of Coldstream is reminding residents that evacuation orders and alerts issued September 5, 2025 remain in effect.

The Wildfire Started Friday Afternoon and is Suspected to be Human Caused

🔹 If you are under an Evacuation Order:

• Register for Emergency Support Services online at ess.gov.bc.ca

• Or call the Canadian Red Cross at 1-888-800-6493

• In-person assistance is available at Coldstream Municipal Hall, 9901 Kalamalka Road, which will operate as a Reception Centre until 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Those without family or friends to stay with, and whose insurance does not cover living expenses during an evacuation, may qualify for provincial government support.
