UPDATE - Nobody was transferred from the accident scene by BC Ambulance. The incident is believed to have resulted in a fatality.
Hydro lines were repaired and power was restored to 57 BC Hydro Customer at 3 AM Friday morning.
December 4 2025 - RCMP, BC Ambulance, Fire, and BC Hydro crews have responded to a serious crash north of Chase. The incident is believed to have occurred on Loakin Bear Creek Road.
The situation may involve a motor vehicle incident (MVI) that resulted in a downed power line, slowing safe access to potential occupants or victims.
