What happened to summer?
Barely a month into Fall Environment Canada has issued snow warnings for Rogers Pass and is predicting possible flurries for the North Okanagan.
In a Special Weather Statement Environment Canada warns drivers traveling the Trans Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass that 5 to 10 cm of snow is expected.
Those traveling through Yoho Park, Kootenay Park, and Elk Valley can expect snowfall amounts from 5 to 10 cm as well.
Revelstoke, Golden, Tsar Creek, and East Kootenay North including Invermere might see 5 cm or less.
