Car Fire at Vernon Gas Station

October 31, 2025 — Vernon, B.C. — Vernon Fire Rescue Service quickly extinguished a car fire at a Petro-Canada gas station late Halloween night.

Blaze was reported by multiple persons

The blaze was reported shortly after 10 p.m. at the station located at the corner of 27th Street and 48th Avenue, across from the Divya Sutra Hotel.

Fortunately, the vehicle was several car lengths away from the fuel pumps when the fire broke out.

No injuries or additional damage have been reported at this time.
