RCMP Investigating Concerning Online Behaviour Directed at Armstrong Secondary School Students
Armstrong BC, March 12, 2026 - Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are investigating concerning online behaviour directed toward students at a secondary school in Armstrong, following a report received on March 9, 2026.
Police were notified of the issue involving students at Pleasant Valley Secondary School (PVSS).
Given the nature of the information, an investigation was started immediately.

"Situations involving a potential threat to the safety of our schools are treated with the highest of priority," said Const. Chris Terleski, media relations officer with the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP.
Police, School District 83, and partner agencies have been working together through a structured risk assessment process. As the investigation continues, authorities emphasized that it is important for the community to know that the school and students are safe, and they are working closely in partnership with School District 83 to ensure their continued safety.
