Environment Canada has once again issued a SPECIAL AIR QUALITY STATEMENT.
As of 3 PM Saturday, July 31 the air quality is calculated to be 10+ Very High Risk and as high as the scale appears to go.
The Air Quality Health Index website advises avoiding strenuous activities outdoors.
Children, the elderly, or those living with a chronic health condition may have elevate an elevated risk level.
Especially affected are people with heart and lung conditions.
The 10+ Very High-Risk rating is expected to last the weekend.
