The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP Locked Down Kalamalka Secondary School in Coldstream after a possible weapons complaint on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.
At approximately 10:30 a.m., in response to the report, the school initiated a hold and secure protocol as a precautionary measure.
RCMP officers were dispatched to support the safety measures and conduct an investigation. After a thorough assessment, it was determined that the safety protocol was no longer necessary.
