ARMSTRONG, B.C. March 28, 2026 - A little excitement unfolded Saturday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into the front entrance of a Tim Hortons location just south of Armstrong.

The incident happened shortly before noon, when a vehicle in the stores parking area drove over a narrow sidewalk, and struck the main entrance door.

The impact bent the lower portion of the door frame. In the process, a mounted fire extinguisher was knocked loose and discharged, spreading its contents.

Emergency crews responded, including units from the BC Ambulance Service, the Armstrong Fire Department and the RCMP.

Two people were treated at the scene by paramedics, with at least one transported to hospital.

The extent of their injuries remains unclear, though no serious injuries have been reported.

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear.
