UPDATE: 17:24 - BC-97A remains closed in both directions in Enderby BC.

Enderby, B.C. – May 8, 2025: A serious vehicle incident in Enderby has tragically resulted in a loss of life, though official confirmation is still pending.

The crash occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Thursday along Highway 97A between Knight Avenue and Brickyard Road.

Tragic Crash Closes Highway in Enderby

Emergency services responded, with the Enderby Fire Department, multiple ambulances, and the BC Air Ambulance all dispatched to the scene.

Highway 97A is currently closed in both directions, with no detour available.

DriveBC is expected to update the road closure at 5:00 PM.
