Smoke fills Lavington sky Sunday morning

November 16 2025 - Lavington fire crews were called to a barn fire early Sunday in the 6100 block of Highway 6.

The small structure was already fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, sending smoke into the sky.

Crews were able to knock down the flames quickly and remained on scene for over an hour to fully extinguish hot spots.

The fire was reported just before 9 a.m., and no injuries were reported.
