January 27, 2023:
The Vernon Fire Department quickly extinguished a small fire behind the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
A call to 911 shortly after 6 pm Friday evening had alerted emergency responders to the blaze.
There are unconfirmed reports a person was seen running from the suspicious fire with RCMP in hot pursuit, on foot.
No other details are available at this time
