GoFundMe Started For Vernon Family Of Okanagan Boat Captain Lost In Deadly Lake Storm

Captain Travis Hills was lost just over a week ago after a violent Okanagan Lake storm sank the shrimp boat he was working on.

Monday, July 31st a commercial dive team and Vernon Search and Rescue were joined by a barge equipped with a large crane and began the operation to refloat the sunken vessel.

Here is a timelapse of the operation recorded from 10:30 AM to 7 PM.

The shrimp boat is the last known location of Hills.
