Hundreds gather under blue skies for Coldstream’s 2025 Remembrance Day ceremony

COLDSTREAM, B.C. – Under mild blue skies and temperatures in the low teens, hundreds gathered Tuesday morning at Cenotaph Park for the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.

Mayor Ruth Hoyte presided over the event, which began at 10:45 a.m. and included readings, musical performances, and the traditional two minutes of silence at 11 a.m.

Wreaths were laid by dignitaries, veterans, and community groups in tribute to those who served and sacrificed in conflicts and peacekeeping missions.

Following the ceremony, attendees gathered for coffee and light refreshments at the Coldstream Fire Hall, continuing a local tradition of remembrance and community reflection.
