Canada Day Fireworks Tonight at Enderby, Sicamous, and Kelowna


July 1 2026 - Canada Day celebrations are just getting underway across the region within a 70 km radius of Vernon/Coldstream.

Happy Canada Day 2026

Coldstream

Start your day actively with the special Canada Day parkrun on the Okanagan Rail Trail. The 5K walk/jog/run begins at 8 a.m. from the trailhead at Kick Willie Loop Rd and Westkal Rd (across from Kalamalka Country Club). Wear your red and white and celebrate Canada’s 159th birthday!


Vernon – Polson Park

The VOICE Society’s free family celebration runs 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Expect bouncy castles, family activities, a market, food trucks, and community performances starting at noon (including Kalamalka Highlanders, Vernon Community Band, cultural dancers, and more). The evening concert features local acts leading up to headliner Hotel Mira at approximately 8 p.m. No fireworks this year, enjoy the music and atmosphere instead.


Enderby - Riverside Park  

  • 8 a.m. – Lions Pancake Breakfast & Classic Car Show registration

  • 11:30 a.m. – Canada Day Parade (Railway Street to Regent Avenue / Woods Lane)

  • Afternoon – Kids’ fun zone, bouncy castles, Ninja obstacle course, live entertainment, food vendors, and community cake

  • 10 p.m. – Fireworks display over the park


Lumby

Family fun at Oval Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., including kids’ activities, bike decorating, a mini parade, Lumby Public Market, hot dogs, cake, and a free public swim at the outdoor pool.


Armstrong/Spallumcheen

All-day activities with a main community gathering in Memorial Park starting at 4 p.m. featuring music, food, and Canadian pride.


Sicamous - Beach Park

Afternoon and evening festivities with sandcastle contests, kids’ talent show, live music, cardboard boat races, and fireworks at dusk (~9:30 p.m.) over the lake.


Kelowna (Waterfront Park)

Big celebration from 11 a.m. until late with music, activities, vendors, and evening energy.All events are free or low-cost and family-friendly.


It’s shaping up to be a beautiful, sunny day for celebrating — grab your red and white and get out there! Events are free or low-cost at most spots.
